one word Lisa! wow! 8O ...you are a master of petit fours! i tried cookies, cupcakes and cakes but this is the one could not do yet..you emailed me an instruction before but i failed miserably when it was time to pour the fondant..yours is just perfect
I think it really helps if you cut the cake frozen, Rexy. There is a thin layer of buttercream under the poured fondant and that helps too (also frozen for a day).
My petit fours are 1 1/2 by 1 1/2 also; and I just use the regular size cupcake papers for them. You may be able to find some better fitting papers online; I haven't looked for any yet.
Thanks for the info. I have never tried fondant. It is beautiful. I took a class and the petit fours were 1 1/2 inch squares. What size are yours & do you know where to purchase the liners. The only ones I can find are too small or too large.

The flowers were done with fondant using the smallest of the wilton flower cutters. HTH
