What am I doing wrong? as you can see there are air holes and it wont smooth. Am I supose to be using a tip when filling in? Is the consistancy supose to be thin like flooding??

Except for those few holes it looks fantastic. Are you gently but somewhat firmly smoothing it with your finger or an offset spatula after piping the icing? It helped me.

love it!! I am adding this to my favorites....you are too hard on yourself; you might try thinning your frosting consistency; but this is a very orginal idea & I love it :D

i just tried FBCT for the first time today, and mine is doing the same thing yours is. But, honestly, I really like this. I agree that you are being too hard on yourself. We are always our own worst critic. It looks great.
