This is a vanilla caramel flavored cake with bavarian cream filling and whipped cream frosting. It was fun to make! I made my own piping gel for the water using the recipe on this site and I love it! It's simple to make and makes quite a bit. I have lots left over to use for something else. The sand is brown sugar and I made some decorations with fondant. The palm trees are gumpaste though. You can't see all my decorations, but on the sides there was also a pina colada drink, coconuts, and sunglasses.
