60Th Bday Wine Bottle
Made this for my Mom's 60th. The bottle is gumpaste and painted with thinned gel paste. The label is rice paper. The shavings are white chocolate.

No pan. I laid gumpaste over a real wine bottle to get the shape.

I thinned the gel paste with vodka.
Just love it!!!!!!!!! Am doing a similar cake tomorrow. Did you print out the label onto the rice paper with edible ink? Thanks for any info! Gr8 job!
I was having problems with the edible ink, so I just used a regular printer. The rice paper kept the ink from smearing when I attached it to the bottle with a little water.
Can I get the recipe for this!!! I want to enter a contest for a wine party. Thanks

:D so smart putting the gum paste over a bottle! Super idea- then really the person could peel that off and save it if they are crazy which most of the people in my life are!
