I made this cake for my dad who is a big fisherman. All my life "fishing" has played the main theme in all his brithdays but I believe this cake made a lasting impression. I created the cake by using the decorations I had already in hand and a lot of imagination. The cake was spice flavored with cream cheese icing. There were 4 layers (2 cakes split in half) with a dab of icing between each layer, the plastic toys I bought from a craft store, food coloring for the water and chocolate chips for dirt and rock
