Oh That's very pretty. Are the ribbons attached to something all together and then placed on the top?
Thank you. I tied and curled 3 together at a time and stuck them in around the candle.

Yes...the knot end is poked into the cake.
As first glance I said, "that would make a great Sweet 16 birthday cake". Then I saw the candle :lol: Very pretty!
I love this cake and would like to use the idea for an upcoming celebration - did you have to put dowels in the cake? Is there a board under the 6 inch layer? Awesome job, so adorable :)
