My SIL's birthday was last week and I remember her telling me that she used to have a banana cake with chocolate icing every year. This year her family bought her an ice cream cake so I thought I'd make her fav for her.

I was going to add some leaves to the rose but I finally figured out how to make a nice rose and didn't want to take away from it. :roll: :lol:

I watched the video on the Wilton website and made it the way they did. (I was taught a very different way in class) It was so much easier!!

Your rose is absolutely beautiful - I'm envious! I'll also have to go back and watch that video again, just to see if I too can pick up some tips. My petal edges never look good...
