Just an FYI to those who are concerned about the fresh flowers in this cake ... I worked with the florist beforehand, and he knew that the flowers would be going into the cake. They were organic roses, meaning no pesticides.
Your cake is gorgeous...and to answer the question about the real flowers..you could always use florist wire to insert them into cake if you wished..:)

Beautiful cake. I don't do fresh flowers, NOR do I put wires INTO a cake, I use the Wilton Flower spikes put wires in those. No offence meant here.
