using the exact method on Fondant you are able to stamp unfrosted sugar cookies out of the oven.
for chocolate sugar cookies I would recomment using RI color and a touch of white to lighten it up tp see your stamp.   Solid dark colors are very hard to see.

    The rubber stamp itself shouldn't be mounted on anything but a piece of acrylic for sanitary purposes. the wooden block or sponge are hard to keep clean

    Just so others know I never use anything that ISN'T food safe. These stamps were purchased at a cake decorating supply store. They are not Rubber but foam and they are dishwasher safe, yes adhesive included. I've had these for several years now. The only way any utensile is unclean is lack of caring or knowing how to clean it. Know before you buy.
