Dramatic Hearts
12-9-6 heart shape wedding cake. All cakes covered in white rolled fondant. Black brushed embroidery vine and leaf designs on cake with mini 5 petal flowers and buds as accents. Dimensional 5 petal gum paste flowers with black brush embroidery designs attached with royal icing. Twisted pillar construction with fountain set up. This was the most different cake I have ever made and one of the most challenging because of the black on the white--no room for mistakes since the black stains the white fondant

That is absolutley beautiful! Great job!! I'm really starting to LOVE black and white cakes, and this is going into my favs for sure!!

Hi Tomay. I use the Wilton read made black icing in the tube, and add water to thin and piping gel. It isn't on the cake long enough to fade, I guess.
