Hexagonal Wedding Cake
This was made for a small (20 people), in-home wedding. The bride is wearing a white two-piece wedding suit with covered buttons down the front of the top -- thus the fondant 'buttons. The groom wanted a "pale pink rose on top with pale green stem, and our names on either side of the stem." Names wouldn't fit, so I improvised.
A 9" 2-layer bottom tier with a 6" two-layer top for them to freeze. White Sour Cream almond with strawberry filling, iced in buttercream, all decorations fondant.

Really pretty! What recipe do you use for your filling?
I used Polaner All-Fruit strawberry preserves. The bride taste-tested it and loved it.
