Pirate Cupcakes
With pirates being so big again this summer, I thought I would post a pic of some pirate-themed cupcakes I did a while back. Chocolate cupcakes with chocolate buttercream icing. Royal-on-fondant Jolly Roger flags and fondant-covered cookies to look like gold coins.

:duh: Why didn't I think of that? I've made lots of things like that. It does work great! What are the flags made of?
They are made of black fondant that I cut with a ravioli cutter to get the jagged edge. I then attached them to lollipops sticks.
Great job! I don't think I could ever free hand the skull and X bones that well!
Thanks dodibug. I actually did them on wax paper over multiple printed images (like a BCT). Then when they were dry the next day, I "glued" them to the flags. Really not that hard!
