In community album: 2006 Wedding Cake Contest
I had so much fun making this for my neice, obviously her favorite color is pink!  I wish I could take credit for the design as well, I love it so much, but I can't.  She fell in love with a picture of the original cake (white) and wanted it changed to pink.  I wish I knew who made the original cake so that I could give her/him credit and to thank them for creating such a gorgeous design!

This cake, although quite time consuming, was extremely simple to make. Just stripes on one layer and rose swags on another. The time consuming part was making ALL OF THOSE ROSES! I thought I had done this already, but apparently I didn't. I just wanted to THANK all of you from the bottom of my heart for voting for this cake in the wedding cake contest! I was completely shocked when I found that I had won 5th place! WOW! I was up against such tough competition
