Spiderman 3-D Cake

Spiderman 3-D Cake on Cake Central

I am not a cake professional, so please be considerate! :~) I only do themed cakes for my son and daughter's birthdays. I used the detailed directions on this site (THANK YOU) to make Spiderman. He is not perfect AT ALL, but my son (and everyone at his party) LOVED it! I love that he loved it!

Thank you! My son did love it! And of course all the kids wanted to eat the head (which was made of a styrofoam wig piece)!

Thank you, golfwidow! Believe me, there really was much more praying involved than talent. Thank the Lord He answers prayers! :~) That is what gets me through my cakes (and everything else, too). There are step-by-step instructions listed for spiderman somewhere on this site that are very helpful. Thanks again for all of the kind comments.

My goodness that is awesome! you did such a great job! I am planing on doig a SM cake for son's b-day soon , where did you get your directions! Again great job.

Thank you! The black "webbing" was SO aggrevating to work with and ended up being crooked in spots. I think next time I may try shoe-sting licorice to see if it is easier to deal with. I was running late on finishing the cake, which also made the process that much more stressful! But it turned out to be a great addition to the party, thanks to the instructions on this and another site. :~)

Great job, Mousey! I hope you don't mind if I borrow your idea. My son is turning three in 2 weeks and I think he and his firends will LOVE this cake!

Thank you! It wasn't my original idea...I just borrowed it from this site...there are detailed directions on here somewhere. Hope your little guy has a great day and I'm sure the cake will turn out awesome!

SO incredibly cool - I'm lifting this idea for my son's 4th Bday next month. He really wants a Spiderman party. I can't believe how amazing your cake turned out. Keeping my fingers crossed that mine looks half as decent. (PS Where did you get the styrofoam head?)
