Turned out great! Is the top gumpaste covered in fondant?
Thank you Practiceandpatience. The top is made up of equal parts fondant and gumpaste mixed together. The gumpaste helps the fondant from cracking or pulling apart around the sharp edges. This was a quick last minute cake, but it was a good learning experience.
