The diapers are made from wrapping fondant around wafer cookies. I bought big sheets of wafers (like in kit kats) and cut them into 2x4s (after measuring how tall my cake was). I took two pieces of the 2x4 rolled out a piece of fondant, folded in the one side and then folded the wafers in on themselves and stacked them on their skinny side (as seen). the end two diapers are skewered into the cake in the middle of the diaper and the rest are held together with a dab of buttercream.
