Just a glimpse of the 600 baseball cookies I decorated for a function at an Assisted Living Center. I figure I put in a total of about 13 hours putting this order together. Lots of work, but I would do it again
The 13 hours consisted of a very planned out schedule of mixing the 10 batches of dough, then refrigerating it overnight, I baked the cookies on 2 seperate nights, as I work full time during the day. Then 1 froze the cookies until 3 days before the order was due. Then, as I did in the baking, I split the time up over a course of 2 days, getting up at 5 a.m. to squeeze in a couple hours before going to work and then getting back at it at night. The frosting I use, and have always used is the Wilton Snow...
I must say you are amazing! Working FT & making all these! (((pat on the back))).......I thought I was in for it on Valentines when I had so many dozens to make over & over, but 600 for one order is outrageous, way to go!!
You are amazing!! I want to make about 200 cookies for my wedding in February, but am afraid of the tast. I believe that I have just been inspired by your project!
For me, it is all about planning, planning, planning.... I never consider any task too big, especially when you break the job down into small tasks! Good Luck!
