This cake is made with a 12, 10 and 8 inch round and iced in buttercream with fondant roses.(Still can't get the buttercream roses right) After the cake was done I had to transport it thirty minutes away and I thought I was going to pass out when husband carried it to and from the van! There were a lot of issues with this cake but in the end I thought it turned out nice for my first "wedding style" cake. I need a lot more practice befre I ever try a real wedding cake.

It's very pretty! Your fondant roses are beautiful. I don't think you need more practice-looks like a great wedding cake to me!

Your cake looks great. I've seen some really bad wedding cake by people who consider themselves professionals. For never doing a wedding cake before this looks great, you should be proud.
