Rose Cake on Cake Central

I made this cake on a whim for my sister's birthday, I had some leftover raspberry buttercream from some cupcakes so I decided to make the roses. The rope is a mess, it needs some practice.

I used regular buttercream, shortning, butter, confectioners sugar and milk but then I took frozen raspberry preserves, and smooshed them threw a sieve and mixed in the juice/sauce that came out. It may need a little extra confectioners to thicken it up as the raspberries thin it out.
