Spongebob For Lilly
Wow, this cake was a lot of work. It's the biggest party cake I've done (feeds 50). Chocolate Cake with oreo cream filling, and Bavarian Yellow cake with whipped chocolate ganache. Characters are color flow. Cakes covered in mmf and dusted with white shimmer. Chocolates are luster dusted with gold, silver and super pearl. Sea weed and flowers are royal icing....had a lot of fun with this one. Inspiration came from sugarshack...much thanks to all my cc friends who helped with all my silly Q's.

Thanks for all your comments! I make the pinapple out of a large soup can - just bake right in the can. I then carved it a little, covere in orange mmf, used a textured mat, embossed some criss-cross lines on it. I then painted over the lines with a copper color mixed with some lemon extract. The greenery on top was made out of royal icing. This is the second spongebob house I've done..they are fairly easy to make.

I was just searching to find out what can be done with color flow and.....WOW!!!!! I see true advantages for using color now. This is so cute. I couldn't bear the thought of it being cut if it were my cake. LoL!
