This cake is iced smooth with buttercream icing. Bride wanted a simple cake with holly leaves and berries. Holly leaves and berries were made with royal icing on a pre-printed pattern on top of wax paper. Edible pearls were coated with pearlized luster dust. Had to deliver this cake on a Friday morning in a snow storm that closed down the public school system. I was barely able to get out of the driveway with my car......not one holly leaf fell off....Whewww!
