A Pink And White "un-Birthday" Cake
Made this for a teacher, who wanted a cake for her birthday, but didn't want it to look or say "birthday" on it. So....I called it the "unbirthday" cake. It is a 1/2 sheet cake thats been torted with raspberry filling, and iced in buttercream.
what kind of icing did you use? Great roses!

The icing is buttercream. Its an old family recipe, so it wont be listed in the recipes anytime soon. hehe No tricks really, just a really thin, smooth buttercream. Bit tricky when making roses with this icing, but the taste can't be beat.
Thanks so much for the compliments, this is prob one of my favorite cakes that I've done lately. I love when a customer gives you free reign to be creative, and you aren't hemmed in by their requests. :)
