Thompson Wedding Cake
This was my first wedding cake. It's all buttercream. I was afraid to do stacked construction, so I bought Wilton's Crystal Clear Divider Set. I love the spaces between the tiers. It had a "place of honor" at the reception hall near the entrance where everybody saw it. I also attended the wedding as a guest. To my pleasant surprise, the bride or bride's parents had the DJ announce my name and what table I was sitting at and had me stand up!

That was very sweet of the bride/bride's family to acknowledge you like that. I'm glad they did though because you certainly deserve "a pat on the back" for this beautiful cake! It's simply gorgeous. Such lovely roses (construction and color). Beautiful design also. I think you should branch out more. Your sheet cakes are fabulous, but you should do some of these also since you obviously have the talent!
