This is my first wedding cake! Sea shells and coral are made from white chocolate marbled with other colors. Buttercream frosting. 14/10/6 inch rounds. Cake is half chocolate and half vanilla with chocolate fudge filling.
I photocopied a picture (like clip art) of coral. Then I taped waxed paper over it and piped out melted white chocolate over the picture of the coral. I piped 2-3 layers of chocolate to make it less fragile. To achieve different colors, I used other candy melt colors and brushed them over the white chocolate. I also put combinations of candymelt colors into a piping bag to get the "rust" colored coral.

This is a beautiful cake. Your shells and coral are lovely!!!
wow, really neatly done. Good Job
Great job! I particularly like all of the different colors of coral
Great cake!! How did you make the coral? I haven't mastered that task yet. Care to share?
I agree your coral is very impressive. Great job on your first (and I'm sure not last!) wedding cake!
