Wedding Gown
I was inspired by a photo in an ACD magazine from last summer, but I know that tons of people have also done cakes like this. It was a fun cake to do. Cakes were round and half ball pan, covered in fondant, detail work on bottom of dress was RI, edible pearls up the back for buttons and along the bodice. The cake was actually done for a wedding album party where group of moms get together and look at each others wedding pictures. They said "surprise" them with a cake. White Almond Sour Cream Cake
This is so elegant and beautiful! I'm sure they loved it!
so beautiful and elegant! Sometimes simplicity is the most beautiful, isn't it?
It's beautiful. I would wear it and eat it.
What a beautiful dress!
The body is made from a Wilton Doll pick. I decapitated her, took her arms off, sanded down all the little nubs and then painted it black (regular spray paint).
This is beautiful. How did you do the body part (the black)?
