1St Anniversary Cake
This is the first time that I made a tiered cake and was very happy with the outcome. The bottom layer is a chocolate cake with whipped ganache filling and the top cake is a white cake with a yummy pecan filling. The cake is covered in white fondant. The pearls are made out of marshmallow fondant and I made them ahead of time and froze them. There are white and fushia colored pearls. Some of the flowers I made from royal icing and some I purchased. I had a lot of trouble making them.
