Black Forrest Cake Flop
This is a black forrest cake I made for my Mom this past Mother's Day. As you can see, one side fell. But it still tasted great, so I guess that's all that counts in the end. :)

can't tell you how many times this has happened to me too!!! doesn't matter once it is sliced though does it lol beauty is all in the eye of the beholder and if you were in italy wouldn't that be a piece of art!!! the top looks great though
Awww. Thanks guys. I'm just getting into baking and wasn't planning on posting my pics until I was better at it all. But I figured, why not, everyone has to begin somewhere. :)
it has happend to me as well, but i have to tell you it looks so good, and i am sure you mother loved it, it gave it some character
well, if it hadn't collapsed no-one would have known you were a beginner that's for sure. it sure looks yummy though!!! :wink:

i made it once 4 my birthday and im making it again this year it's delicious!but this time i'll make it pink like yours!i love it! it's my favorite color and i think you did great! :) :) :) :)
