Celtic Knot Wedding Cake

This cake was a disaster from day one! Top tier is all chocolate and the rest are half chocolate, half yellow. Icing is buttercream with RI knots and ribbon border. Went to set up the cake at the hall and they weren't ready so it was set up in one place and then they moved it when the cake table was ready :( There are so many things wrong with this cake it would take forever to mention so lets just say it was a learning experience both in the kitchen and out!

I found the design on the internet and copied them in RI on wax paper then put them on styrofoam dummies to dry in the right shape.

Absolutely gorgeous! Only YOU know that it isn't perfect, and I bet only YOU really care! If I were the bride,I'd have cried and made sure the photographer got great pictures to remember it! :D

Gosh you are all too kind! :oops: I nearly cried this morning thinking how terrible that cake looks...pictures can be so cruel!
