Basketweave Technique!!
The reason I posted this cake that I had already posted was that it is a close-up of the basketweave and I was wondering if you would tell me your honest opinions of my BW technique. All honest opinions welcome. I have another basketweave wedding cake coming up and just want assurance that it looks okay. It took like 3hours just to do the weave on this cake

It looks great! The only thing I would recommend was to get the basketweave closer to each other. It would make more of a 3-D effect. I think you really have it!
Looks very good to me...try putting more horizontal lines, that way you will bring the weave tighter and it may be more time consuming but I think you have a good handle on it...very nice...
