Never tried something like this but from what i have seen and read, maybe you could try something like the wonder mold like people use for the dress on "barbie doll" cakes. You could also try half a ball pan and stacked round cakes. Hope this helps.
do a rounded loaf pans with half a ball on the top, that would be another way to do it
i think the wondermold would work well....or the 1/2 ball with stacked rounds, depending on how big u want it...
....or you could cheat and make them both out of colorflow/royal transfer... depending on how much cake is needed. Just and idea!
