Done for a wedding this evening, frosted cake with fondant strips on. Lilies, stephanotis, bows are gumpaste, hanging ribbon ends are fondant. This was one Bride we had never met, but an order through the internet and phone calls. Still didnt see her at the Reception site!

I notice that the fondant strips on the corners are tapered. Until seeing this picture, I wouldn't have known to do this. Did you taper them first and hope they fit, or was some sort of pattern or set measurement used? I love this elegant design! Thanks for sharing it.

So beautiful and so white!!!!! How on earth did you get your fondant strips so consistent? Even the ones on the corners are perfect for their placement!
