Amy's Cake
This cake was suppose to have minature marzipan fruit. Ordered 2 boxes (72 pcs. each) so I would have enough. Walk in to the reception hall and pink roses everywhere. My assistant and I look at each other and try to figure out about the marzipan. Wedding coordinator comes over and we are talking as I finish putting the ribbon on and we decided to nix the marzipan and go with roses. sorry that the pic is blurry--I'm so tired, I couldn't tell it when I took it.
Oh and I forgot to add, the sizes of the cakes are 14", 12" and 8". Bride brought me the ribbon--1 roll of ribbon 1 1/2" inches wide and 4 feet long. Not even enough to do the bottom cake let alone all three.
Well for all your trouble you must be thrilled with the outcome. Congratulations on your triumph!
