This is fabulous. I am planning to do shoes and bag as a cake topper for my daughter's sweet 16. This inspires me.
The bag was two 4" cakes stacked and structured w/ dowels, then i carved the sides following the shape of a real bag, crumb coated it and attached the fondant pieces that were cut to size, the handles were made of gumpaste.
Unbelievable! LOVE it!
