I did this cake for a youth pastor that was moving away. This was a "fairwell" cake. The ones that ordered it liked it so much they paid me an extra 20 bucks!!!
I was most pleased with the way this cake turned out.
Thanks guys! The strap is made of mmf and the strings are angle hair pasta dusted with silver luster dust. The Tuners are made out of mmf and dusted with perl luster. I got alot of my ideas from CC, so Thanks to all of you!!(:
A very good duplicate of a real guitar!!! Did you make the straps out of fondant? What about the strings and the tuner things on the top of the guitar? A really great looking cake.
dumb question probably but, I have to do a guitar cake this Sat. and obviously you have to somehow "glue" pieces of the pasta together to make it long enough. How do you get them to stay together?
