Thank you for your compliments! I didnt use a ruler to make the lines, it was totally free-hand. First, I used a circle-cutter to mark a cirle in the center of the cake. Then I piped the parallel lines on the side diagonally. On the top surface, I piped the lines also diagonally but in the opposite direction with the side toward the inner circle. Last, do the borders on the top inner circle and around the bottom border.
