This Construction cake was made for our grandsons second birthday. My daughter used two round pans. Icing is homemade chocolate. She used crumbled chocolate cookies for the road and edge of cake and smarties for the roadway border. She added construction toys to make the scene look real and a stop light stood by the cake flashing. For the cupcakes we used one Tonka fruit snack on top of white icing.
