I made these for a family reunion last summer! They were a hit with the kids and the adults! I had so many questions from people about how I made them.
I think the next time I make them I will frost the cupcakes with a different color before I put the hamburgers on them.
They are made from vanilla wafers, mini peppermint patties, coconut, corn syrup, and the sesame seeds. First frost the cupcakes in what ever color you want. The place one wafer on the top of the cupcake so that the flat side is facing up. I then placed a dab of frosting on the wafer to hold the peppermint patty in place. I then dyed coconut green and used a small dab of frosting to hold that to the "patty". The you can place the second wafer on top of the coconut round side up (top of the bun). I
I then brushed the light corn syrup on the top of the second wafer and sprinkled the sesame seeds on top of it. That is the hardest part of the whole thing, because the seeds stick all over. They are very simple to make and they are a big hit!
