Pumpkins

I did these cakes for 3 different people who wanted the same thing. The cakes are chocolate with chocolate buttercream. The pumpkins are fondant. This was the first time I had ever used fondant for anything.

Thanks. Newbie - I can't find a close up picture. They are just fondant "balls" rolled out to the shape I wanted, then I took a toothpick and used the side of the toothpick to make the lines in the pumpkin. The stem is just a tip 16 star in chocolate buttercream, with a little green leaf.

I think these are great! I didn't realize that the orange pumkins would look so festive on a chocolate cake! I like them even better on chocolate then on white! Excellent Job! Adding to my favorites!
