Fabulous cake! Looks so real! How big is it?

Amazing job! Is the neck of the guitar cake, or something else, and how is it supported?
The size is about 3 1/2' long, the body was carved from an 11x15. The handle is fondant covered foamcore board. The support can barely be seen under the top of the handle. It's a small tube that was glued to the base board.

The strings are gumpaste squeezed from the sugarcraft gun.
