Mother's Day Roses

Mother's Day Roses on Cake Central

The cake was very long and skinny to fit the florist rose box. I used the White Chocolate cream cake with Raspberry Mousse filling and frosted with the White Chocolate icing with White Chocolate Raspberry creamer in it. The Decorations are White Chocolate clay roses and piped icing the same as the cake. The "tissue" is half and half Jello and MMF fondant.

What a creative cake, especially for Mother's Day~! Gorgeous roses and great job on the leatherleaf.. I bet she loved it..

All the recipes I used are CC recipes except the modeling chocolate which was a Toba Garrett. I used a 12 inch ML square and when cooled cut it into 4 strips which ended up with two 3"x12" cakes. I graded the edges to give it more dimension. Thank you all for your positive comments.

Can you share the recipe for the "half & half Jello & MMF fondant"? Is that only something you can do for embellishments or can you cover a cake with it. BTW--Your cake is striking!
