It's The Singing Kettle!
I am a part-time carer for the recipient of this cake. He has complex special needs and is the funniest most loving person to walk this earth. He was 15 years old when I made him this cake (he's 17 now) and he wouldn't let anyone touch it for days! We went to a Singing Kettle Show for his birthday too.
Great Job!
You are amazingly talented... Very nice job!!!! If you don't mind sharing how you do your writing. Any special tricks with the icing to get it to look so smooth flowing?
Wow, this is amazing! Great Job!
I piped this writing using a No. 1.5 tip. The royal icing was soft but not runny. It shouldn't run through the tip without pressing the icing bag. As you finish a letter, if the icing drags up into a little peak, dampen a little paintbrush and pull it through your thumb and finger to take away excess water. Gently "paint" the little peak and it will take it away and soften your letter.
great job! Very creative and clean. Love it.
Really cute!! I bet he loved it!!
All of your cakes are fantastic. I, too, wondered how you did your perfect printing.
