Noddy!

Noddy! on Cake Central

This little design was made onto a pasted cake card and attached to the cake with a little royal icing. The design can be lifted off and kept. The little boy who received the cake allowed me to have his Noddy car so that I could work from it to make one from sugarpaste (fondant) I added Noddy myself for the purpose of the celebration. I liked this one very much. I like the brightness of the colours. It worked well.

I have never used cold porcelain but I would like to try it......when I can find the time! I make modelling paste using sugarpaste and a gum powder called CMC. It firms the paste making it more pliable and easier to use.

This is where I feel a fraud....I don't know the names of the tips! I look at the shapes and wonder what will come out of the end when I press the icing bag! Just for you though, I shall check the nozzle and send you the details that are marked on it if that will help!
