Mother's Pride
This lady has her favourite things around her which has mostly to do with shopping! Her daughter wanted the grandchildren to appear on the cake so instead of making all the characters and costing her a fortune, I improvised and painted a picture of them and put it on the side table. She was very pleased indeed.

I love all the details in your cakes - wow. I wonder what gold you use to paint your letters; which brand and colour?
It is bright gold powder made by edible art. They have a shop online. It is non edible but non toxic so it's safe to use. This design wasn't going to be eaten. The glasses are made from 24gauge gold wire and bent into shape with small pliers and snipped to fit the head.

ha ha ha! Maybe she is. It's meant to be wine but the beer is funnier. The braid isn't edible. It's just a braid that I love and use quite a lot. It helps to hide the seals.
Now the whole cake it amazing, but what really show the talent is the family pic...WOW!
