Fifties Theme

This was made for a man who loves the 50's. His daughter just wanted a 50's theme with a jukebox & records & that he liked Buddy Holly so this is what I came up with. I hand painted Buddy & the other things are fondant cut outs.

Buddy Holly was hand painted with black paste colour mixed with iso-propyl alcohol.

I made the dancing couple from a picture I downloaded & the same for the guitar. When I can't get a cutter I always make templates from pictures. It's less expensive & I can always size them to fit the cake!
