I did the top tier in advance of setting out to do the rest of the characters. I had to wait until all the tiers were stuck together to continue working on it. I took me a full week to complete 8 people. The whole cake was made from fruit so it gave me a good length of time to work on it since the cake won't spoil. It weighed a TON!

I absolutely WILL be at the NEC this year. I am entering a cake like this into the Wedding category...funnily enough! I am also entering again for the Cake with a Novel Design. I'd love to see you there to say hello. How amazing would that be!!

You do such wonderful work! I love the personality you put into your figures. I especially love the little one with her feet over her head and her ruffled panties. It reminds me of my granddaughter during children's time at church. And the little one without his pants, shoes and socks! I have to wonder about the woman in black though, since she's in profile. I am so intrigued by your work. So impressed. Wow! I'll be watching for more. Ü

I love this cake. It reminds me of my sis' wedding. I am the one with the dress over her head, I fell off some rocks while taking pictures, the guys were drunk off thier butts by the time the reception ended, and one of bridesmaids was just there 8O and the other well I don't know she was busy flirting with everyone that talked to her. And all this while they were getting married, this is too funny. I wish that I can get the whole figureine thing down and I wold be a happy camper. Great cake. :D

I think my favorite part is the look of serious concern you've put on the girl attending to the girl with her bottom in the air. So Expressive!!! These are great, I am jealous of your talent!
