Here is the first Elmo with the head that 'blew up'! It didn't really blow up, it just fell completely apart...notice one of Elmo's eyes is in his lap and the other is behind him!

That gives a whole new meaning to Elmo's World. Besides the blow up...the cake looks great! Sorry it went bad, but on the positive side - if everything always goes good, you wouldn't have anything to talk about in the cake disaster forum! I'm sure you have figured out what to do next time, if not, I'd suggest using skewers instead of toothpicks - they are longer and will stick into the cake further.

I'm sorry this happened but I now have charley horses in my face cheeks from laughing so hard and trying to contain it. LOL

Oh no!!!! I've done the 3D Elmo several times and this is always my biggest fear....I'll open the back of the van to go deliver it and find that Elmo has just lost his cake head!!!!!! I am soo sorry this happened
