Not only was this my first paid wedding cake (other than family & friends) but this was the first time I had to make gumpaste flowers. I had ordered some of these from another company and had 2 left. So I used those to cheat from and made them look the same. Of course, I didn't judge the time very well so I didn't have enough time to make the leaves so they are silk =o( Oh well...she was very happy. Also, the customer had to drive 2 hours with the cake so I was pleased that she said everything was OK!!
