Yellow Duckie
I saw a couple of similar designs in the gallery, but I basically ripped off Swillshaz's design! Swillshaz's was too adorable to even think about making changes. Thank you for the help too! I was up until 2 am working on this for my nephew's 1st birthday. I had a little trouble with getting the beak to stay on, but I really liked the way it came out. I had a hard time cutting it up. This would be cute for a baby shower too!

Thanks everyone for the nice comments! I used a 6 inch for the head (4 inch height) and 8 inch for the body (Two 2 inch cakes and one 3 inch cake for 7 inch height total) Then I carved it into a rounder shape.

The cake is great, but so is the photo! How do you do the lighting?
Thanks. It is just natural lighting (no flash) with a tablecloth draped behind. I also need to use a tripod to avoid the "shake"
