1St Place For Prettiest Cake @ Hershey's Chocolate Fest
Definitely a chocolate lover's dream - Devil's Food Cake w/ Caramel throughout the cake and a caramel filling between the layers. I only had 2 hours to decorate this as part of the rules...I felt very rushed. The table is messy because they sample the winners after judging so there was chocolate everywhere...lol
I should have mentioned that this was part of the Retail Category - there are a lot of cakes out there that were prettier than mine. Also, some had cakes that were much more beautiful but were disqualified if the entire cake wasn't edible. That was a rule for the competition also. So just because I won doesn't mean mine was the prettiest...lol - I just know how to read!! lol
