Lamp
I made this cake for someone to give as a thank you gift. She had the man fix an old lamp of her granmothers and he wouldnt take any money. So she asked me to make a cake.I baked the cake in my large batter bowl from pampered chef. I glued a cardboard circle to the candle stick and then glued the other that the cake sat on. It was a chocolate cake with almond buttercream icing. I made the top out of gumpate and painted it with silver luster dust. Swiss dots for accents and the first time I did sting work.

Funny you should ask Customcakesbysharon I havent delivered it yet because I am affraid the stings are going to break. I have it in a box with tissue paper I have to bringit where she works thenit will goon a 15 minute ride to thier home. I hope it makes it and if it doesnt there isnt anything I can do. I have moved the cake a few times to see how stong they are and its been fine So keep your fingures crossed

Ok its delivered and everyone at the office loved it.I hope her husband likes it as much as everyone else. I had to fix 2 of the stings that fell while driving.
